Vantara is a large wildlife centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat, that helps and cares for animals. It was opened on 4 March 2025, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on World Wildlife Day, showing its focus on protecting wildlife.
Anant Ambani is the main person behind Vantara who is a leader at Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation. He cares a lot about animals and helped make this project happen.
Before the official opening, Vantara got attention during Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding celebrations in March 2024, where famous guests like Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Ivanka Trump toured the centre.
